INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chicken tender or Boneless chicken breast (cut like thick fingers) - 300 grams
  2. Chopped Bread - 1 slice
  3. Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Walnut - 1/2 cup
  5. Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Italian seasoning - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
  9. Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Corn flour - 1/4 cup
  12. Maida flour - /14 cup
  13. Water - as needed
  14. Oil - to deep fry
  15. Salt - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add the chicken tenders or chicken pieces, Add salt, black pepper powder, chili powder, cumin seed powder, Italian seasoning lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, 2 teaspoon (tsp.) oil and mix well. Marinate this for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixer or blender add bread pieces, walnut, little chili flakes, littl salt, little black pepper powder, little Italian seasoning and ground to coarse.
  3. In a bowl add maida flour, corn flour, water as needed and make a thick batter like we do for bajji.
  4. Now take one chicken pieces at a time and dip in the batter (make sure well coated) then remove the excess batter and drop into walnut powder and coat well. Do this for all pieces and keep it aside.
  5. Heat oil in pan. Reduce the heat to moderate (mitamāṉa) flame.
  6. Now fry the chicken until the are cooked and turns golden brown and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Kids and adult will love this protein snack.
